The high rates of rising prices of food stuffs and essential commodities are causing great hardship to the people of all classes. Something must be done to check this unjustifiable and unscrupulous tendency of high prices of essential commodities in the market. The government should take immediate effective measures to keep down the prices of necessary things as much as possible.

Problems Created by Traffic Jam

Traffic jam has become a national problem in Bangladesh. It is simply one persisting problem that has been troubling the nation for long, But it has some various aspects that hamper the national development. Everyday traffic congestion eats up a huge amount of work hour in the capital. At least two million people go out in the morning for office and return home in the evening. On the way they have to waste at least two hours on average. Besides, a huge amount of fuel is burned due to traffic jam. As a result, both the individual and the nation have to incur huge loss.

Students often fail to reach their examination centers in time due to this problem. There are reports that serious patients die in the ambulance as they could not he sent to the hospital on time. Considering all the above facts, the government should take up some bold measures to address the traffic jam issue. Otherwise, the nation will continue to count loss in varioυς ways.

I received your letter but sorry to inform you that I could not respond in time. You might have known that I went to Delhi with my parents to attend the marriage ceremony of my uncle. Se T got the chance to pay a visit to the tomb of emperor Humayun, the father of Akbar the great After purchasing ticket we entered the vast premises wheth is on more than ten acres of land.

The main platform of the shrine is as high as the platform of the Tajmahal. The Tajmahal is nothing but the repbca of Humayun’s tomb In the middle of the high platform we saw two graves side by side. One is Humayun’s grave and another is his wife Hamida Banu’s grave. On the same platform, outside Humayun’s tomb there are some graves in open space with epitaphs written in Farsi. The guide told us that those are the graves of Dara, Murad and Emperor Aurangojeb.

I stood there quietly before sunset remembering the past history of the great Mughals. It took me back to the days of the Mughal emperors. With a heavy heart I returned to my hotel. No more
