Computer and information technology is designed for understanding of using computer and information technology; it applications in nursing field; application programs for Microsoft Word processing, Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets, Power Point Presentations, Networking and Communication through internet and World Wide Web applications.

A dialogue between a nurse and doctor.
Doctor: Hi nurse. How are you?
Nurse: I’m fine sir, and you?
Doctor: Fine, what about the patient condition of bed NO-337
Nurse: Bed NO-33 is not very well. He couldn’t close his eyes at a glance. Whole night he was anxious.
Doctor: What have you observed?
Nurse: He needs a sound sleep but he can’t.
Doctor: Exactly you are right. Now I am prescribing a sedative drug which will help him to have a sound sleep. But tell me about his investigation report.
Nurse: Thank you sir. All investigations have been sent to lab and radiology department. All investigations report will be available at 3 pm.
Doctor: Very good really you are active and well planner.
Nurse: Thanks a lot sir. I’m also provide mouth care and back care to this patient regularly.

Patient: Yes I’m so much tensed
Nurse: Oh I see. But sir you will get well as soon as possible. Your disease condition is not so much critical. If you take all medications properly you will be get well soon.
Patient: Are you sure?
Nurse: Yes sir, you have been suffering from typhoid fever which is not so much critical.
Patient: But my headache is increasing day by day.
Nurse: Don’t worry sir. I am giving you some medications according to doctor’s order which will help you to relieve your headache. But sir don’t be worried and take all the medications properly. If you feel any abnormality please inform us.
Patient: Ok nurse. I will maintain your advice.

A dialogue between a doctor and a patient who has been suffering from fever for a week.
Patient: May I come in, sir?
Doctor: Yes, of course. Take your seat. What’s your problem?

Patient: Yes, the sales man of a drugstore of our locality gave me Napa Extra. But that doesn’t seem to have any effect.
