Leadership is an important factor for making any type of organization successful. Throughout history, it has been recognized that the difference in success and failure. Whether in a war, a political movement, business or a team game can be attributed largely to leadership.
A. The main three importance’s are:
- Motivating employees: Motivation is necessary for work performance. The higher the motivation, the better the performance.
- Creating confidence: A good leader creates confidence in his followers by directing them with advice, and obtaining good results in the organization.
- Building morale: Morale is expressed as the attitude of the employee towards the organization and its management; it is manifested through his voluntary cooperation.
B. Other importance of leadership:
- A leader guides and directs the members of the organization to establish goal.
- Leader creates and maintain good working environment in the organization. Determine the failure and success factors of an organization to achieve the goal.
- Leadership is the cohesive force, which holds the group intact.
- The leader initiates change convinces people about goals of the organization.
