Definition of Uploading:

Uploading is the process of putting web pages, images and files onto a web server.

Or,

Uploading is the transmission of a file from one computer system to another, usually larger computer system.
Example:
1. Upload a new picture on Facebook.

Definition of Downloading:

Downloading is the process of getting web pages, images and files from a web server.

Or,

The term ‘downloading’ is defined as the transferring of files from a server to a smaller peripheral unit.
Example:
2. Download a software from play store.

Difference between Uploading and Downloading
